TRIATHLON acquires majority stake in dsp Computersysteme Vertriebs GmbH

With its customized ERP solutions, dsp Computersysteme Vertriebs GmbH has been operating successfully in the market for more than 25 years. The company has been one of TRIATHLON Group's business partners since the late 1990s. Over the years, a close and trusting cooperation has developed. This collaboration spans across wide areas of the company and has resulted from contracts with the predecessor company of today's AIM Munich, which is part of the TRIATHLON Group. dsp has implemented the current ERP system dsp/3 in the Group and, together with the internal IT of TRIATHLON, provides the company's infrastructure, including the operation of the TRIATHLON data center.

Now TRIATHLON Holding GmbH has acquired a majority share of 50.5% in dsp Computersysteme Vertriebs GmbH. The two companies are thus continuing their successful cooperation and will form a strong unit in the future. TRIATHLON is looking forward to continuing dynamic growth in the coming years. On this path, dsp will play an important role as a new part of the Group. dsp has already made an important contribution to the development of the TRIATHLON Group's main production plant in Glauchau: The fact that processes there today run almost smoothly and are highly automated is largely due to the performance of the dsp team and a modern ERP infrastructure. IT-based processes and connected warehouse vehicles operating within a forklift control system ensure an efficient flow of goods.

Munich-based dsp has extensive know-how in programming. The company regularly applies this expertise in the further development of TRIATHLON products, most recently, for example, in the integration of IoT-capable products. Strategically, the process know-how of the dsp experts plays an important role in the further development of the Group. This will be in high demand in the near future. The constantly growing size and complexity of TRIATHLON as well as the company's internationalization strategy place new demands on the ERP architecture.
