TRIATHLON continues partnership with Triathlon Team Thüringen
The partnership between the TRIATHLON Group and the Triathlon Team Thüringen (Triathlon Team Thuringia) will be continued. After the start of the cooperation last year, both parties are very satisfied with the results achieved. And the trend is clearly upwards. In their debut season in the 2nd Bundesliga, the young team just missed the podium in the final standings.
"Now, of course, we want to improve on our good result. The girls are highly motivated and are already training at a high level in their pre-season preparations,"
says team manager Vera Hohlfeld, who draws on her experience as a professional cyclist, including a fourth-place finish in the road race at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, USA. She adds:
"The partnership with TRIATHLON as a sponsor is something very special. We feel a real sense of support and are happy that our achievements are being recognized. And the fit in the name definitely draws attention to us."
At the beginning of the year, TRIATHLON CFO Florian Seitz and Team Manager Hohlfeld agreed to continue the sponsorship. There was consensus that the development of the sports team should follow a principle that is also decisive for the TRIATHLON group of companies: Sustainably successful! Even though there would have been the chance to compete in the 1st Bundesliga as early as the 2023 season in cooperation with the Triathlon Team Dresden, the focus remains on gaining experience and developing at a healthy pace.
"We are very happy with the way our cooperation is going. TRIATHLON is pleased to be able to support women's professional sport and, in particular, to be able to give young talented athletes the opportunity to develop. We would like to further realize the potential of this partnership even more for our mutual benefit. We are already looking forward to following the team's progress again in the summer,"
